Quilt Shipping
When You Send Us A Quilt Top
- Make sure seams are secure and threads have been trimmed.
- Make sure the top is square.
- Make sure the borders are straight.
- Neatly press top.
- Do not apply embellishments until after quilting is complete.
- The batting and backing should be at least six inches larger in both directions, than top.
- If you need to have a seamed back – make the seams ¾ inch and press seam open.
- If the outside edge of your quilt is cut on the bias or is a pieced border, please stitch the outside perimeter of your top ¼ inch in from edge.
- If you are mailing or using U.P.S. please put quilt top and backing in plastic to protect against moisture.
When We Receive Your Quilt
We will call you to advise of arrival and discuss your wishes. The quilt will be placed in order of arrival for quilting. We will call you when quilt is completed and is ready to be sent back.
When We Ship Your Quilt
We can use U.S. Mail or U.P.S.; and if you wish, we will insure your quilt for up to $300, or to whichever value you want. The shipping charge will be added to your bill.
We will enclose a bill with your quilt which will include shipping and, if applicable, Tennessee State Tax.
Upon your receiving the quilt we would appreciate prompt payment by cash or check. At this time we do not accept credit cards.
